Hastings PRIDE March & Festival celebrates the freedom of LGBTQ people at Highland Park in Hastings, Nebraska. The afternoon begins with a 1.8 mile March, led off by a "Parade of Flags" representing all parts of the LGBTQ community. Dozens of exhibitors represent local non-profit agencies that provide services to the community or sell merchandise that would be of interest to festival attendees. Food vendors provide a wide variety of foods. A program of musicians and other performers also includes speakers who are leaders of the LGBTQ community to provide education and inspiration. Other features vary from year-to-year, but may include a photo booth, inflatable rides, face painting, and other fun. The first 200 attendees receive a free commemorative T-shirt.
