In June, UNK took a team of ten to the Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in San Antonio. Along with workshops and other activities, the students attending the conference competed in various events against business students from other colleges and universities from all over the country. Five of the nine UNK competitors earned a top ten finish in their respective competitions. Anna DeSordi and Morgan Anderson (as a team) placed first in Hospitality Management and third in Business Decision Making, Max Beal and Brady Przymus (as a team) placed second in Economic Analysis and Decision Making, and Daniel Vargas Castano placed eighth in Macroeconomics. There were over 1,500 students attending the conference, with dozens of competitors in each event.

In addition, DJ Hardwick was elected to the office of Mountain Plains Vice President and will represent UNK at the national level. Abi Sheen is finishing her term as National Parliamentarian. This is the second year in a row that UNK will have a national officer for the largest student-run business organization in the United States.
