In this August 2021 issue:
FINAL June FY2021 financial reports will be available in SAP and Firefly on August 6. Remember to enter period=14 to capture all FY2021 financial activity. FINAL July FY2022 financial reports will be available on August 21. Except for June & July, all other months will close on the last day of the month and final month-end reports are available to print or view on-line on the first day of the next month.
Budget information for fiscal year 2022, including carry forwards, will be available in SAP by the last week of August.
Ticketing for permits starts on the first day of classes, August 23rd. (There will be long lines at UNK Police this day.)
Permits may be purchased on-line through “MyBlue”, by campus mail (We will not send via regular mail), or in person at the UNK Police Office in the Facilities Building. Parking permits may be purchased on line (either by payroll deduction, credit or debit card), by campus mail with check or payroll deduction, in person with check, cash or payroll deduction. Permits will be mailed to the purchaser by campus mail, if ordered by August 12th. Permits ordered after close of business on August 12th, will need to be picked up at the UNK Police office.

Change in Responsible Person for a Cost Center or WBS Element
When the responsible person for a cost center or WBS element changes, the person relinquishing responsibility can send an email to Scott Olson at olsons2@unk.edu so that SAP can be updated. The responsible person can be found on the upper right-hand corner of the Cost Center: Revenue/Expense Summary or the upper left-hand corner of the WBS Element: Revenue/Expense Summary.
If you have a new hire that will have responsibilities related to accounts payable, human resources, financial reporting, contracting for personal services, and eSHOP ordering please refer to the Business and Finance workshop registration site (http://unk.enrollware.com/schedule) to see a list of available trainings and register for the sessions that will pertain to the new employee. Contact names and numbers vary and can be found in the descriptions provided for individual classes.
Allocation of tuition remission credits for the Fall Semester final submission is Friday, September 17, 2021. Allocate credits via Firefly/ESS, under Benefits, choose “Employee & Dependent Scholarship”.
