About the Art History Degree Program

In the Art History program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, you will benefit from the range of upper-level courses, including periods from the Renaissance to Late Modern. Through classroom lectures, discussions, assigned projects and papers, you will learn to interpret visual art using a variety of methodologies and contextual frameworks grounded in a critical understanding of the Western tradition and will acquire an awareness and appreciation of cultural heritage.
