The Student Body President, the Vice President, and the President's Cabinet compose the Executive Branch of the student government. The President serves as the official student body representative to the administration and the public. He or she has the power to pass or veto legislation passed by the Senate and also serves as a student member of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents. The Cabinet, chaired by the Vice President, is made up of officials of specific tasks and acts as an advisory board to the President.

Moses D. Moxey was elected Student Body President & Student Regent in March 2013. He is a native of the Bahamas and is studying industrial distribution at the University of Nebraska - Kearney. As a senior, he is also a member of the Black Student Association, the African Student Association, and in 2012 served on UNK’s New Student Enrollment summer staff. Moses brings innovative action, passionate Loper enthusiasm, and a fresh perspective to student government.

Lorena Ortega

Secretary Ortega is a junior Business Administration major with an emphasis in Accounting. She was born in Santa Maria, CA, but calls Lexington home. Lorena is a vehement student supporter and scholar. She was one of the six students selected to join the international honor business society of Beta Gamma Sigma, is the Recruitment Chairwoman for her sorority, Sigma Lambda Gamma, and is the Chairwoman of the Nebraska Cultural Unity Conference. She is also a part of the Kearney Bound Program.

Tyson Radcliffe

Secretary Radcliffe is a junior from Elm Creek, NE. He is currently studying Social Work, with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. While attending the University of Nebraska - Kearney, Tyson has been the President of Queer Straight Alliance as well as the Chairman for the Nebraska Cultural Unity Conference. As Secretary Organizations and Affairs, Tyson is striving to make UNK more diverse environment, while also increasing Loper pride and spirit initiatives.

Pierrie Y. Jefferson

Secretary Jefferson is a senior majoring in Family Studies with a minor in Sociology from Lincoln, NE. Pierrie is known as a remarkable student leader: he is currently the President of Loper Programming and Activities Council, a re-founding father of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He is also a Nebraskan Student Union Envoy at the Welcome Desk. As Secretary of Community Relations, Pierrie is tasked with planning the University's largest community service event, The Big Event, and is responsible for attending Kearney City Council meetings, and establishing more connections with the Kearney community.
