The 2013 Loper Programming & Activities Council
The Loper Programming and Activities Council (LPAC) is regarded as the primary event programing source on campus at the University of Nebraska - Kearney (UNK). With abundant resources, a passion for vibrant and dynamic events, and enthusiastic student members, LPAC is truly dedicated to programming for students, provided by the students. LPAC events range from world-renowned hypnotist Jim Wand, who will be returning for his 26th year, to spectacular concerts with performances by Kelli Pickler, All-American Rejects, Secondhand Serenade, and most recently, Karmin. These events are a great way to take a break from studying, catch up with friends or enjoy an event at a low cost, however the vast majority of events are free!
Furthermore, LPAC is an active and respected registered student organization at UNK that brings exciting, new, and prominent events to campus for students to enjoy. LPAC is also in charge of producing many annual events and campus traditions that UNK students have come to love such as Blue and Gold Days, Fame Talent Show, Family Day, Homecoming, and the Fun 5K. Membership in LPAC is open to any student willing to volunteer their time and talents but also very willing to have fun. LPAC meets every Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in the Nebraskan Student Union. We bring FUN to UNK and the best part is EVERYONE is welcome! Feel free to explore and peruse LPAC's webpages in the related links column.
