The Construction Management Organization (CMO) is affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The student Organization is active in educational endeavors for members, civic contributions, and regularly attends the annual conference of the NAHB at various locations nationwide.The local affiliate of the National Home Builders Association, the West Central Nebraska Home Builders Association, sponsors the UNK student chapter. Their sponsorship provides CMO members majoring in Construction Management at UNK several scholarships in the amount of $500 to $750.
This affiliation coupled with a strong technical and managerial foundation in residential and light commercial construction techniques and processes, can provide the student with a challenging and rewarding career option.
