Tau Beta Sigma is a nationally recognized service sorority for the band. You do not have to be a music major to be a member of Tau Beta Sigma. Every fall members of Tau Beta Sigma help plan and organize the annual Band Banquet. In the spring the members of Tau Beta Sigma help with the UNK Honor Band and Choral Clinic. There are always new projects and tasks for members of the sorority to help the band. Tau Beta Sigma also organizes fund-raisers so members of the sorority can go to District Convention, which is held in various locations every spring. Anyone who is interested in music and participating in band is encouraged to join.
