Newman Center

The Catholic Newman Center is a student oriented, Catholic faith community.  We are committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ which calls us to accept, support, and challenge one another.  We celebrate life with joy, energy, and vitality!

The Newman Center serves those of Roman Catholic faith. Located close to campus, it provides students with easy access to fellowship, study, and worship.

We have two levels of involvement at the Newman Center: 1) the NSMC (student leadership team) meets on Monday evenings twice a month; 2) we offer many activities/experiences that are open to whomever in our Newman Center community wishes to participate - some of these that happen regularly are: a) prayer opportunities - we have two Masses every Sunday and a 10pm Mass on Wednesdays; in addition, we pray Evening Prayer @ 9:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; we also have weekly student-led Bible Studies; b) we serve dinner at the Newman Center on Wednesdays and Sundays - in addition, we offer many other social activities throughout the year...we try to have at least one activity each month; c) we also offer retreats and other spiritual growth opportunities throughout the year; and d) we offer a variety of service opportunities throughout the year.
