The purpose of the Physical Education Majors Club is to help future Physical Education Teachers to develop and maintain a connection to the ever changing world of physical education. This club provides an opportunity for the future professionals to network more closely with current professionals and become more involved with their physical education major. Member discussions center around bew and innovative ways to further develop teaching methods on a state and national scale.
Goals of the Physical Education Majors Club include allowing students to share and receive information regarding current issues in the field, current workshops, conventions available, and all other types of pertinent information regarding the aspects of the physical education field. Students will also gain valuable experiences through guest speakers, recreational and community based activities, and fundraising opportunities.
Meetings are held in the Cushing Facilities Room 120 on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm.
