Popup blocking software can interfere with the operation of the Ektron Library. If you have a blocker enabled (such as the Google Toolbar used in this example) you may find that the Library window never opens when you click on the book icon in the Ektron toolbar. To solution is to disable the popup blocker for the "webcms.unk.edu" website address. Instructions for doing this in Google's Toolbar are available here.

1) First, check to see if the popup blocking software is blocking the Library window from opening. With the Google Toolbar, simply click once on the Library button and look for the following message at the bottom of the workarea screen: Google Message
   
2) If the message exists, then minimize your Workarea screen so that you can see the Ektron Login page. Make sure the URL at the top of the page starts with "webcms.unk.edu." Locate the Google Toolbar and the "# blocked" button within it, as pictured here. Google Blocked
   

3) Click once on the "#blocked" button to allow popups at the webcms.unk.edu website. The button should look like the image pictured here.

*Note: You only need to make this change once. The popups should remain unblocked in Ektron from that point onward.

4) Open your Workarea screen again and use the Library button. It should open properly now.
