What makes UNK a great choice for students? Unk has a lot to offer, it is a campus full of opportunities and it allows students to grow as individuals. The campus is small enough to get to know other students and also the staff is very helpful. There are events that occur on campus weekly so there is always something to do.
What have you enjoyed the most in being a student at UNK? What I have enjoyed the most is becoming involved on campus as well as meeting new people and forming new friendships. Also, growing as an individual, becoming more independent.
What are you looking forward to in being a TSLC Mentor? I am looking forward to most importantly a successful year. I am excited to be able to help the new students and give them the opportunity to be involved on campus and to make their first year a memorable one.
How would friends describe your personality? My parents would describe me as a happy, genuine, outgoing, and positive person. I tend to find a solution to a problem. I always love to make people laugh.
Interests/Hobbies/Involvement at UNK/in community:I am interested in meeting new people. My hobbies would be listening to music and being surrounded by friends and family. I am involved as a Kearney Bound Mentor, Sister to Sister, Sigma Lambda Gamma. Some of the activities in which I have recently participated outside of UNK in the Kearney Community are: Buddy Bowling, Children’s Museum, and Community Service at St. James Catholic Church.
