- Minor procedures (i.e. ear irrigation, suture removal, wound care, TB testing, nonrefractory vision screening, wart treatment)
- Gynecological examinations by appointment
- Contraceptive counseling and prescription of contraceptive methods
- Pregnancy testing
- Sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment
- Confidential HIV/AIDS counseling and testing by appointment
- Smoking cessation counseling
- Referrals for psychological services and alcohol education classes provided by the University Counseling Center
- Referrals to local specialists and area service providers (i.e. orthopedists, dentists, eye specialists, physical therapists, mental health specialists, obstetricians, pharmacists). You are responsible for all charges for these services
- Referrals for unplanned pregnancy counseling and services
- Instructor notifications for student absences of 3 or more consecutive days from illness, surgery or hospitalization
- Crutch and heating pad rentals
- Blood pressure assessments
- Weight, exercise and nutrition counseling
- Copies of vaccination and health records upon your written authorization and presentation of identification
Medical records are regarded as privileged communication and are controlled by strict policies to protect confidentiality. Health Care staff members are committed to upholding your right to privacy. Information from records will not be presented to anyone without your written authorization except as required by law. In order to abide by our policy, we may ask for your identification before releasing records.
