Position Title: Recreation Aides  
Position Description: Recreation aides will be assigned several adult males and females with developmental disabilities, taking them to community events and helping them to participate in individual and group activities. Providing transportation is essential. Aides will also help with year round Arc activities, such as Buddy Bowling (Wednesdays, 3:30-5:15 pm), Saturday Crafts (twice a month from 10-11:30 am), Respite at KidZone Children's Museum for children with disabilities (first Thursday of each month from 6-8 pm), Arc at the YMCA (Fridays 6:15-8:15 pm), holiday dances, Honey Sunday fundraiser (all day, Sunday, November 6th, 2011), some after school activities, etc. Occasional clerical duties will also be assigned.
Additional Information: Must work well with people, especially adult men, with developmental disabilities. Position Description: This person will be responsible for assisting other teachers with snacks and the supervision of the children. You will be responsible for playing large motor activities with a group of children in the gym or outside on the playground.

Position Description: Paraprofessional will work with all staff to provide assistance with projects at The Center. The Spouse Sexual Abuse Family Education (S.A.F.E.) Center provides client advocacy and education for domestic abuse and sexual assault. Our mission is to provide a continuum of quality services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Services include 24-hour hotline; emergency shelter; transitional housing; medical, economic, and legal advocacy; liaison with community agencies; and educational programs.
