Notice:
All registrations for Level 1 courses must be received 5 school days prior to the beginning course date. Registrations received less than 5 school days prior to the beginning course date cannot be guaranteed a seat in the requested course.
Materials students must bring to a Level 1 course:
INSTRUCTORS WILL NOT PROVIDE COPIES OF THE ABOVE MATERIALS.
Level 1 students must comply with the following requirements:Complete the Pre-Service Evaluation and Behind the wheel (updated June 16, 2011) training.
If the vehicle requires the driver to hold a CDL, the applicant must hold a Learner’s Permit for Commercial Vehicles (LPC) prior to the “behind the wheel” evaluation. In order to obtain the LPC the applicant must pass a general knowledge written examination based on the information contained in the CDL Manual.
The Nebraska Safety Center charges for Level 1 Pupil Transportation Course are:
The Nebraska Safety Center may charge a $50 re-schedule fee for students who fail to attend as registered and do not notify the Nebraska Safety Center in advance of the absence. This charge will be billed to the student.
