Motorcycle Rider Safety Courses

Motorcycle Safety Course offered by the Nebraska Safety Center include:

Basic Rider Course - (BRC) - $225  - For the new rider, the Basic Rider Course provides classroom and actual motorcycle operator training in a controlled environment. Successful completion of the course waives the written and riding tests at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Basic Rider Course 2 - (BRC2) - $100  - The Basic Rider Course 2 is designed for anyone who is already confident on a motorcycle wanting to improve their skills.

 Scooter Basic Rider Course (SBRC) - $195  - The Scooter Basic Rider Course provides instruction for the beginning scooter rider or a rider who needs a refresher. Successful completion of the course waives the written and riding tests at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Advanced Rider Course - (ARC) - $100  - The Advance Rider Course provides rider development in the areas of risk management, decision-making, riding strategies, and rider behavior.    

Returning Rider Basic Rider Course - (RRBRC)   $100 - The Returning Rider Basic Rider Course is a new 8-hour course combines elements of the BRC and BRC2. For those without a current Motorcycle Endorsement, successful completion of the course waives the written and riding tests at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
