Persons must register for S.T.O.P within ten (10) working days after receipt of the ticket. S.T.O.P must be completed within forty-five (30) days after receipt of the Ticket.
NO EXCEPTIONS!

Minor Traffic Violations means infractions as

provided in Neb. Rev. Stat. 60-682

but shall not included:

	speeding twenty (20) or more miles per hour over the speed limit
	leaving the scene of an accident
	driving under the influence of alcoholic liquor or drugs
	reckless driving or willful reckless driving

	participating in a speed competition
	operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest
	refusing a breath or blood test
	driving on a suspended or revoked operator's license

	operating a motor vehicle without insurance or other financial responsibility in violation of the Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act
	any injury accident or any violation which is classified as a misdemeanor or a felony

YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE STOP PROGRAM IF YOU HOLD A COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE, (even if you are driving your personal vehicle), or if you have participated in a STOP Class in the last (3) three years

Eligibility requirements are the responsibility of the participant

If you do not wish to contest your citation.
If you have not participated in the Nebraska Safety Center
Safety Training Option Program in the last three (3) years.

REGISTRATION INFORMATIONYou must register (in person) at the Webster County Attorney's Office located at 443 North Webster Street, Red Cloud, NE. If you have any questions about registration call the county attorney's office.

REGISTRATION HOURS9:00am - Noon; 1:00pm - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

WHAT TO BRING TO REGISTERCitation (Issued in Webster County)
Valid Driver's License
Social Security Number

CLASS COST & TIMES$75.00 money order is due at the beginning of class, also a money order made out to Webster County Court for $48.00

2nd Saturday (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
4th Sunday (1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
