Persons must register for S.T.O.P within ten (10) working days after receipt of the ticket. S.T.O.P must be completed within thirty (30) days after receipt of the Ticket. 
NO EXCEPTIONS! 

 

Minor Traffic Violations means infractions as 
provided in Neb. Rev. Stat. 60-682 
but shall not included:

  speeding twenty (20) or more miles per hour over the speed limit
  leaving the scene of an accident
  driving under the influence of alcoholic liquor or drugs
  reckless driving or willful reckless driving
  participating in a speed competition
  operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest
  refusing a breath or blood test
  driving on a suspended or revoked operator's license
  operating a motor vehicle without insurance or other financial responsibility in violation of the Motor Vehicle Safety Responsibility Act
  any injury accident or any violation which is classified as a misdemeanor or a felony
YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE STOP PROGRAM IF YOU HOLD A COMMERCIAL DRIVER'S LICENSE, (even if you are driving your own personal vehicle), or if you have participated in a STOP Class in the last (3) three years.
  Eligibility requirements are the responsibility of the participant
 

If you do not wish to contest your citation.
If you have not participated in the Nebraska Safety Center
Safety Training Option Program in the last three (3) years.

STEPS FOR REGISTERING
1. Download and complete the registration form and fax it to the Nebraska Safety Center at (308)865-8257. (It is the violators responsibility to make sure that they are eligible for the class). You must register within 10 days and have the course completed within 30 days. NO EXCEPTIONS!

2. What you need to complete the registration form:

Citation (Issued in Gosper County)
Valid Driver's License
Social Security Number
3. Class cost and times

$75.00 money order is due at the beginning of class made out to the Nebraska Safety Center, a money order for $40.00 made out to Gosper County Sheriff's Office, also
a money order made out to Gosper County Court for you were cited in for: $48.00 

  1st Saturday (8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.)
