Room and Board Rates

Residence hall room rates include charges for Internet and HD cable with HBO, and all utilities

Additional Fees:
$50 - Laundry fee: unlimited use of washers & dryers.
$5 - METS (Managing Environments Through Students)
$5 - Social Programing fund
$5 - RHA (Residence Hall Association) fund

Please note: All students who live in the residence halls during the academic year (fall and spring semesters) are required to select a meal plan option. Board plans are optional during the summer term only.

University Heights rates include utilities and basic cable. Internet and telephone service are the responsibility of the resident.

Residents of University Heights apartments are not required to select a meal plan, however, meal plan options are available for apartment residents. Please visit our housing options page for more information about University Heights, including eligibility requirements.

Room & Board Payments 2015-2016

All students who register for classes from early registration through the first week of the semester will be issued an email billing statement notification. This email will be sent to the student's UNK email account (LoperMail) at the beginning of the second week of the term with the balance due in full on September 23, 2014 for fall semester and February, 2016 for spring semester. Paper billing statements will not be mailed. Students will access their billing statement on MyBLUE. For more information please check the Student Accounts homepage.
