What makes UNK a great choice for students? UNK is a school that is not too big or too small. It is very easy to get involved in activities. The campus offers students numerous opportunities to get involved providing various organizations across the spectrum. Here at UNK students are not a number but a name and face.
What have you enjoyed the most in being a student at UNK? I have really enjoyed watching myself grow as a person. I really enjoy seeing how much our professors, staff and faculty truly care for our education and success here at UNK. Lastly what I have enjoyed the most is getting to know and work with many people. I enjoy being able to take leadership roles in and outside the classroom; UNK truly offers such opportunities in every aspect to the student body.
What are you looking forward to in being a TSLC Mentor? I am looking forward on working with the students. My mentor and the TSLC made my transition to college a very smooth one. I am so excited and words can’t truly describe the excitement and emotion I feel about this opportunity. I love working with people and sharing my life, inspiring and touching other’s so they too can find their road to success.
How would friends describe your personality? Friends would describe my personality as one that is laid back and very real. I can have fun and be super chill, but also I can be very professional and act in proper manner. I am more of a serious person rather than one who like to joke around. I know my limits. I have time and place very clear and people know it. They would also describe me as a very warm hearted person with a great one of a kind personality.
