(1) Every undergraduate student must demonstrate an acceptable competence in writing the English language. This may be demonstrated by completing 6 hours of English composition. (See UNK catalog for exceptions.)
(2) At least one of the natural science courses selected during the first two years should have a designated laboratory period. (See UNK catalog for appropriate General Studies (GS) courses.)
Students should check the UNK degree requirements and the Transfer Guide for specific course equivalencies. UNK has a residency requirement which states that a minimum of 32 semester hours applicable to the selected degree program must be earned through UNK.
