Middle Grades majors must select two academic areas of concentration from:  language arts, social science, mathematics, science, business education, modern language (German, Spanish, or French), health and physical education, or special education (k-6 or 7-12).

* College Algebra required of students who do not have four years of high school mathematics including two years of high school algebra, 1 year of geometry, a senior level math course, and a MATH ACT of 20 plus.
 
 

** The student should take the Praxis I test during the second year and prior to transferring to UNK.

***Must have at least two lab components with science courses for a minimum of 8 hours.  Additional 3 hours of science required for Middle Grades endorsement.
