The Office of Student Records and Registration uses a 4-digit code to indicate the term and year for each semester and summer session (e.g., 1108 represents the Fall Semester of the 2010-2011 school year and 1111 represents the Spring Semester of the 2010-2011 school year). The numbers representing the semesters and terms are as follows:
The first number is a place holder and is 1 for terms in the years 2000 and after, 0 for terms in the 1990s.
The middle two numbers indicate the last two digits of the year. (e.g., 10 = 2010, 11 = 2011)
The last number indicates the term. 8 = Fall (August); 1 = Spring (January); 5 = Summer (May)
