How to Join

2013 UNK Greek Week

Want to GO GREEK, but wondering how to join?

Friendship is the cornerstone of fraternity and sorority life, but it doesn't end there. Greeks at the University of Nebraska - Kearney consistently have higher GPA's than the all-campus grade point average, while concurrently being represented in nearly every registered student organization on campus. Over $60,000 is raised each year for local and national charities in addition to over 18,000+ hours of hands-on community service is done by the Greek community.

Fraternity and sorority membership can offer a more well-rounded college experience. UNK's Greek community represents over 650 diversified men and women belonging to 14 different fraternities and sororities. Our Greek community provides its members with opportunities for growth and excellence in academic, leadership, service learning, and social opportunities.

UNK fraternity and sorority members are leaders in various areas of campus involvement and within their discipline of study. Furthermore, the Greek community has provided a significant outlet for those dedicated to making such commitments. Above all, the Greek experience is tremendous for those students who choose to join - a fraternity or sorority will cultivate life-long friendships and excellent opportunities for personal growth.
