The Leadership Legacy Award recognizes a student leader whose long-term dedication and commitment have made a positive impact on sustaining the visibility of a student organization. This award is presented to a long-standing member of the organization that has left a positive mark on the group and at UNK.
The winner of this award is an individual who is involved in such organizations at the UNK Honors Program, Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society, Students in Free Enterprise, Sports Administration Majors Club, and Order of Omega Honor Society. Additionally, this student was involved with the UNK Track and Cross Country teams. Also, this student has served in various leadership roles within her sorority; the latest being past chapter president. During her term, she successfully raised their membership GPA requirements by .25, which undoubtedly led the chapter to achieving the highest overall GPA among Greek organizations. Lastly, this student has received several honors, including, but not limited to, Regents Scholar and Honors Program Cook Scholarship.
