      You must replicate and synchronize your contacts in Lotus Notes to migrate your contacts to Office 365.

      By default, your contacts file is stored locally on your machine. To make sure that you have a current version of your contacts on the server, you must replicate and synchronize the two files.  The migration software will access the contacts file on the server

       One way to clean your email account and reduce the size of your Lotus Notes database is to delete unwanted emails.

      Are you taking a vacation soon?  Will you be out of the office for a meeting tomorrow or next week?  If so, be sure to complete the Out-of-Office notification in Lotus Notes before you leave.  The out-of-office email notification sends an automated reply to incoming email messages while you are away from the office and often reduces the number of redundant email messages you would receive while on vacation.

    • Opening a hyperlink in your default browser instead of embedded inside LotusNotes

      Are you having trouble opening up a hyperlink within the LotusNotes client?   When one clicks on a hyperlink in LotusNotes, by default the web page is embedded in your LotusNotes client.  While this may be working for some, others find this option frustrating.  To change this option so that the hyperlink opens up directly in your favorite web browser, follow these steps....

    • Beware of Fraudulent Emails Referencing CDC-sponsored State Vaccination Program

      CDC has NOT implemented a state vaccination program requiring registration at www.cdc.gov.  If you receive an email referencing a CDC-sponsored State Vaccination Program DO NOT click on the link in the email.   Clicking on the link puts you at risk of having malicious code installed on your computer.

       

    • External Related Links

       In the new UNK website design there is a powerful tool known as a Collection. You may be more familiar with it as the peach box on the right side of your webpage titled Related Links. These collections allow you to group content references within Ektron. This is useful since you do not have to recreate the same list on every page, and allows you to maintain the links in one place. One limitation is that your links must all point to other pages within Ektron. So what do you do if you need to add an outside link to this collection? That's what we are here to talk about.
