To facilitate technology into the classrooms, UNK has implemented "Smart Classrooms." These rooms contain the latest in audiovisual educational tools. Information Technology Services has chosen several pieces of equipment to be included in all Smart Classrooms that they install. Those items include:
- Video projector
- Visual presenter
- Computer (with DVD drive)
- Teacher's Workstation
- Wall or Ceiling Mount Screen
There are some instances where items special to a certain discipline or class are required. Those items are not considered part of the core equipment.
