This tutorial was created using the Safari internet browser. Other browsers may be used but will not exactly follow the same steps as follow.
Step 1:Click the Get Script button to the right, to download the script to setup UNKSecure.
Step 2: The script will be downloaded automatically and placed in the "Downloads" folder. Click the Downloads button in the upper right corner of Safari and then right-click on the UNKSecure-MacOSX (right click by either holding down the control key while clicking or by pressing and clicking with two fingers simultanouesly). Then select Open.
Step 3: The script will then run and start making the necessary changes in the background to get you connected. You will be prompted to enter the admin/login password 3-8 times. You have to enter the password everytime a change is made (security precautions). So if it asks for a password multiple times, it is working, just keeping entering your password.
Step 4: You will then be prompted to enter your username and password. The username is your FULL unk email address and password is the password for your email. Make sure to check the box to "Remember this information" so you don't have to type in your password everytime you connect.
Account Name: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
Password: EASI password
Step 5: You will be prompted to verify the security certificate. Select the Show Certificate option when this window pops up.
Step 6: The window will be expanded and you will have to select the GeoTrust SSL CA certificate and make sure the Always trust "GeoTrust SSL CA" checkbox is checked. Proceed by clicking continue. As shown in the picture.
Step 7: You should now be connected. Double check by opening your Airport settings and verifying there is a Check next to UNKSecure.
Make sure you have your wireless password. If you do not know your EASI password, go to easi.unk.edu.With your password in hand:
