I am pleased to announce a new award opportunity for UNK ITS employees.The Technology Excellence Award recognizes the exemplary performance of ITS staff members who consistently provide a level of service above and beyond their job responsibilities.Nominations are due by December 1 and will be reviewed by the Academic Information Technology Committee.Criteria for the award will include job performance, acceptance of responsibility, teamwork and accomplishments involved in technical projects; a commitment to service for students, faculty and staff; and contributions to the profession.The winner will be announced in February and will receive a monetary award of $1500.All faculty and staff are encouraged to submit a nomination to my office by the December 1 deadline.
