  1. Click on Preparing to Migrate to Office 365 to view information about the following subjects:  (PowerPoint used in the Fall 2011 Prepare to Migrate workshops)

  2. You must replicate and synchronize your contacts in Lotus Notes to migrate your contacts to Office 365.
    By default, your contacts file is stored locally on your machine. To make sure that you have a current version of your contacts on the server, you must replicate and synchronize the two files.  The migration software will access the contacts file on the server

  3. You must be sure that "encryption" is turned off in Lotus Notes before migration. 
    Go to File > Security > User Security > Notes Data > Notes Databases > select "Do not locally encrypt" > Save
      

  4. Cut and Run or Generic Lotus Notes Calendar Accounts - Exporting contacts from Lotus Notes Client and Importing into Outlook
