If you don't want to wait, iWork08 for Mac can import Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel including Office 2007 files and all AppleWorks files.

My personal favorite feature in iWork08 is Instant Alpha. The Instant Alpha tool enables you to convert certain colors in an image to transparent. This feature is great for removing unwanted background in an image or graphic.
