UNK Bookstore offers employees with UNK ID a 10 % discount on purchases in the general, textbook and supply areas. The Antelope Bookstore is located in the lower level of the Nebraskan Student Union

DINING SERVICES 

Staff, faculty and community at large are welcome to dine at any of the UNK residence hall dining rooms. UNK residence halls serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday.  Employees receive a 20% discount at all dining facilities when they use Loper Dollars.

OFFICE DEPOT

UNIVERSITY THEATRE 

UNK employees receive discounted rate (usually $2.00 off) for admission to UNK Theatre productions. Information on their productions and employee admission rates can be accessed by logging on to their website.

UNIVERSITY TRAVEL SERVICES 

The travel contract with Travel and Transport gives the University traveler access to:

  • Airline – United and TWA (discounts ranging from 10-25% off of published fares).
  • Hotel – discounts at over 20,000 properties, both domestic and international. Discounts range from 10-40% off of corporate rates.
  • Car – Complimentary membership to express memberships with National and Alamo Car Rentals. ($50 value). Discounted rates that are $1 to $5 less than negotiated rates from 1999.
  • Discounts are available for all UNK employees, consultants, speakers, or companions of a UNK traveler. Most of these discounts are also extended to you for your personal travel. 
  • Upfront savings realized – no fees imposed for business or companion travel.

 VERIZON 

Available to all University of Nebraska employees:

  • 18% off base plan
  • 25% off future accessory purchases in store

Please bring a state issued ID and a current paystub to Verizon to verify employment with the University.  This discount will take approximately two months to show up on your bill once activated.  Phone plan must be a Verizon plan, not an old Alltel plan.
