
Counseling Care is a mental health clinic for students that are taking their coursework on campus. Students who are enrolled in seven or more credit hours per semester automatically pay the Counseling & Health fee, making them eligible for Cousneling & Health Care visits. Students enrolled in less than seven credit hours can "opt-in" by paying the semester CHC fee. Students are required to present a photo ID to access the sevices of Counseling & Health Care.
Counseling Care offers confidential personal counseling to students that are given an opportunity to discuss thoughts, feelings, and concerns with professional, licensed counselors in a non-threatening environment.
Counseling sessions range from : relationship issues, stress, academic pressures, homesickness, depression, eating disorders, drug/alcohol abuse, anxiety, grief, sexuality issues (choices, pregnancy, and assault), addictions, and more.
Alcohol and drug counseling services are provided by qualified licensed therapists who have completed all the State of Nebraska requirements to provide court-ordered drug and alcohol counseling services.
