Non-Resident Academic Merit Scholarships

When determining scholarship eligibility for incoming freshmen from states outside of Nebraska, UNK uses class rank, grade point averages and ACT/SAT scores submitted to the University by official sources.  Official sources for class rank and grade point averages are high school transcripts.  Test scores are considered official only when they are provided by ACT and SAT.  Minimum scholarship requirements and deadlines are listed in the descriptions below.  It is the student’s responsibility to submit this information by the deadlines.

If a student receives new ACT/SAT scores after admission, UNK will reevaluate a scholarship award on the basis of the new scores only if those scores are sent to the University from the test provider.  New test scores provided on a high school transcript will not be considered.
