Please be advised:According to UNK policy, scholarship checks that are made payable to UNK, whether solely or co-payable to UNK and the student, MUST be deposited into the student's UNK account and not given directly to the student.
Checks made co-payable to the student and the University will take longer to process as we pursue the required endorsement from the student. Therefore, we recommend checks be made payable ONLY to University of Nebraska at Kearney.
It is advantageous to the student for a scholarship check to be mailed to UNK as early as possible. If you have questions, please contact our office at (308) 865-8520 or email our Scholarship Coordinator.
