Trauma Group:
This group is for Counseling Care clients in the second stage of recovery from interpersonal childhood trauma (physical, sexual, emotional abuse and/or neglect).  Clients in this stage of recovery have emotional regulation skills and healthy coping strategies in place, and are ready to begin processing trauma memories relevant to present-oriented goals.  Work in this group involves reconstructing the trauma story, adaptively transforming traumatic memories, and mourning losses assoicated with the trauma.
