Automatic Call Back allows a station user to camp-on to a busy number within the Kearney exchange. The busy station will ring and be connected to the waiting call when it becomes idle. 

To Activate: 

• When busy signal is encountered, depress switch hook. 
• Obtain dial tone. 
• Dial #80. 
• Replace handset. 
• When line becomes idle, one long and two short rings will be received at your phone. 
• Pick up handset and busy station will be automatically dialed. 

To Cancel: 

• Lift handset. Dial #80. 

Automatic Recall allows you to listen to a recording telling you the number (within the Kearney exchange) of the last person who called you and dials that number automatically if you choose to do so. 

To Use: 

• Lift handset. 
• Dial *69. 
• Recording will announce telephone number of last person to call you. 
• Dial 1 to call that number or hang up. 

To Cancel: 

• Lift handset. Dial *89. 

Call Trace allows you to trace threatening or harassing phone calls from within your defined calling area. 

To Use: 

• After receiving the call, hang up. 
• Lift handset and listen for dial tone. 
• Dial *57 and follow voice recorded instructions. 
• 
  If these calls continue to be received, contact Business Services. 

Call Waiting provides a tone indicating another call is waiting. 

To Use: 

• Hear call waiting tone during conversation. 
• Depress switch hook. 
• First call is put on hold and you are connected to second call. 
• 
  Depress switch hook to alternate between parties. 

Cancel Call Waiting allows you to deactivate Call Waiting on a per phone call basis. 

Before call is made: 

• Dial *70. 
• Hear special dial tone. 
• Dial the number of the party you wish to call. 
• Call waiting is deactivated until call is terminated.

During conversation: 

• Depress switch hook. 
• Hear special dial tone. 
• Dial *70 and you will be reconnected to caller. 
• Call waiting is deactivated until call is terminated. 

Note: Cancel Call Waiting should be activated before dialing into a computer modem. 

Last Number Redial allows a station user to redial the last number dialed. 

To Use: 

• Lift handset. 
• 
  Dial ##. 

Speed Call 30 allows you to pre-program a list of 30 frequently dialed numbers. 

To Program or Change: 

• Lift handset. 
• Dial *75. 
• Listen for special dial tone. 
• Dial a two digit code(00-29). 
• Enter desired telephone number. 
• Dial #. 
• Listen for confirmation tone. 

To Use: 

• Lift handset. 
• Dial * and the assigned two digit code. 

Three-Way Conference allows a station user to add a third party to the existing conversation. 

To Use: 

• Ask first party to hold. 
• Depress switch hook. 
• Hear special dial tone. 
• Dial number of party to be added. 
• When third party answers, depress switch hook and all three parties will be connected. 
• If you encounter a busy, no answer, make an error in dialing, or wish to return to a two-way call when third party hangs up, depress switch hook twice to reconnect to original party.
