MicrosoftLogoOffice 2007 Tips - PowerPoint Presentation Notes

Have you ever been frustrated when you go to print out your notes for your PowerPoint presentation and each slide with your notes takes an entire sheet of paper?  I sure have!

In PowerPoint 2007 you now have the option to send your PowerPoint presentation to Microsoft Office Word.  For example, if you just have a few notes on three consecutive slides, these three slides will all fit on one sheet of paper!  Or if you have a one slide with a large amount of notes that you need for your presentation, this one slide and your notes may take the entire page.

See below for the simple steps to print out your notes for your PowerPoint presentation but on very little paper!

In PowerPoint 2007, go to your Microsoft Office Button

Microsoft Office Button

 Click on Publish

 Publish

Select "Create Handouts in Microsoft Word"  Handouts

Now, just choose the Page Layout you want.

I like the "Notes next to Slides" option.  It takes a little while for the PowerPoint to completely transfer to the Word document, but it is well worth it!

Choose Word
