Once classes begin, faculty members have the option of submitting an Early Warning Referral to the Academic & Career Services office. Early Warning Referrals identify any student who might be experiencing academic difficulty. These students are then notified by email and/or phone and offered assistance that might help them complete their classes successfully. Students who are contacted regarding an Early Warning are strongly encouraged to meet with an advisor from Academic & Career Services to discuss academic success strategies.
Faculty may submit Early Warning Referrals by using the Early Warning Referral Form or contacting the Advising Center at rundstromal@unk.edu or 865-8501.
