Julieta Johnston earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines and a Master of Science in Mathematics Education from Ateneo de Manila University, Manila. Most recently, she taught Mathematics and Statistics at the United States Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, Colorado; before that, she taught Mathematics at Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines.
