Assistant or Associate Professor rank
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemistry or Biochemistry/Molecular Biology; evidence of ability to teach effectively; evidence of ability to establish a quality undergraduate research program in chemistry and to seek external funding; evidence of ability to contribute to department service.
Preferred Qualifications: Postdoctoral research experience and/or college/university chemistry teaching experience.

Department Information: We have 10 faculty members with expertise in a variety of areas within analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. The department is ACS-accredited and we offer five degree programs: three Bachelor of Science (Professional Chemist, Biochemistry, and Business/Sales emphases -- all ACS-certified), one Bachelor of Arts, and a Grade 7-12 Chemistry Teaching Endorsement. UNK Faculty and Students Give Nine Presentations at the Fall ACS National Meeting in Denver
The 242nd National Meeting of the American Chemical Society was held in Denver from August 28-September 1. Nine poster presentations featured current and former UNK chemistry students and faculty.
