What an exciting time of the year. In just a few short weeks, hundreds of new freshmen will begin their undergraduate studies at UNK. They will be joined by transfer students, returning undergraduate and graduate students, a talented and diverse faculty and a dedicated, helpful staff. They will enroll from all corners of Nebraska, from across the country and from around the world. All of them will be welcomed “home” to a living and learning environment that invites discovery and promotes success, and to a community of friends and alumni whose generous support we could not do without.
Also exciting is that fact that for everyone – new or returning – the start of each academic year is a new beginning. There are new faces, new friends, new programs of study, new buildings, new technology. Whether coming to campus for the first year or the fortieth, fresh opportunities await. Nothing stays the same and learning never stops.
