Many computer labs are available for student use at UNK, with Microsoft Office on PCs and Macs. Specialty and course specific software are available in some labs. Other labs are located throughout campus and in each residence hall.
Most printing in UNK computer labs is 5 cents per page or 6 cents for double-sided printing, if available. This includes residence hall labs.
Printers are activated by swiping the UNK student ID card in a card swipe attached to the printer's workstation.
All students receive $2.50 of free printing at the beginning of each semester.
None of the $2.50 will carry over from semester to semester. When free printing credits are used, additional printer credits may be purchased with Loper Dollars online or at a UNK ID Kiosk located in CTR Library and the Nebraska Student Union.
Print jobs may be retrieved anytime within 18 hours of the time they are sent to a printer.
