Instructional Technology  

  The Instructional Technology Group of ITS is designed for students, faculty, and staff to encourage and support technology confidence and expertise in addressing academic and personal technology learning needs and goals.  The ITS Instructional Technology Group at UNK welcomes your comments and suggestions. 

  UNK Mobile - Put UNK in Your Pocket!  

      The University of Nebraska Kearney campus community and the public can now get the latest UNK news and information via an iPhone®, iPad®, iPod Touch® or Android™ device by downloading the free new UNK Mobile app. 

   “UNK Mobile is awesome!  It will serve as an amazing tool for connecting students to the various entities encompassed within the University. Additionally, UNK Mobile will give students the opportunity to connect to campus in a more convenient and efficient manner. Faculty, Staff, and Student training workshops provide software training for both Mac and PC in such applications as Blackboard, Microsoft Office, iWork, Qualtrics Survey Software, Multimedia Software, iPad, Lync and Outlook.

Workshops are typically held in Otto Olsen 202.  Space is limited and registration is required for most workshops.  Workshop topics are continually updated. Click here to view upcoming workshops and to register.  If you don't find the specific workshop you are looking for, contact our IT group.

Custom-tailored in-person support for your specific area needs with software and general computer training is available by appointment for an individual or  a group.  Training can be in your office, our Learning Labs located in Otto Olsen 113 or in the Training Lab located in Otto Olsen 202. Contact us to make arrangements for your custom training.
