All residence hall rooms are equipped with two high-speed network data jacks and wireless access.
To connect your computer to the UNK wired network you will need a network cable (Ethernet RJ45 male/male cable) from the computer to the data jack. Cables may be purchased at the UNK Technology Store located in Otto Olsen Rm 115, or at other retail stores carrying computer supplies.

All computers on the UNK wired and wireless networks are required to run up-to-date anti-virus software. There are a
few antivirus programs available for free download including Avast!,
AVG free, and
