The Mid-American Universities International (MAUI) is a consortia with which UNK is affiliated. MAUI is comprised of thirteen institutions from Nebraska, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Together we exchange students with a variety of countries in Europe including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France (Lille, Strasbourg I, Strasbourg II, Strasbourg III), Germany (Bochum, Leipzig), Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, The Netherlands (Utrecht University, Utrecht School of the Arts) Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
The financial obligation of an exchange opportunity through the MAUI consortia, means that the UNK Students pay tuition and fees to UNK at current rates, and room & board is paid in the host country.
