Opportunities for involvement with Theatre at UNK are endless! Because of the relatively small size of the UNK Theatre Program, students (both majors and non-majors alike) are encouraged to try a little bit of everything — performance, technical positions, design, etc. — making the full theatre experience that much more complete.
For hands-on experience in all aspects of production, the UNK Theatre program mounts four mainstage productions and numerous student-directed pieces each season. With productions in rehearsal or on stage throughout the academic year, there are always numerous "backstage" opportunities available for theatre technicians, in addition to a wealth of performance opportunities for those who prefer the limelight.
