4th Annual Violin/Viola Workshop

 

2012 Violin/Viola Workshop:
"Celebrating Chamber Music" 

Saturday, September 22, 2012
10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
UNK Fine Arts Building

The Workshop is Free and Open to String Teachers & Students (Grades 6-12) 

The workshop covers:
• Essential skills in chamber music performance
• Chamber music coaching from members of the UNK string faculty
• Performance opportunity through the afternoon Chamber Concert
• Performance practice and participation in the Master Class
• Additional workshop materials on ensemble playing

Workshop Schedule:
10:20 - 10:30: Registration
10:30 - 11:00: "Principles of Playing Chamber Music"
11:00 - 12:00: Chamber Music Coaching I
Lunch provided by Workshop
12:40 - 1:40: Master Class
1:40 - 2:30: Chamber Music Coaching II
2:30 - 3:00: Concert presented by Workshop Participants

(enrollment will be on a "first-come/first-serve" basis due to capacity limitation)
