UNK has hosted the State Speech Tournament on our campus for the past 10 years and the state debate tournament for the past 13 years.
The department's Multimedia major is the only one offered within the four-campus University of Nebraska system.
Since 1993, at least 80% of UNK Department of Communication graduates have found full-time employment in their chosen career. Seventy-nine percent of UNK Communication graduates get their first jobs in Nebraska.
Department of Communication students have earned numerous awards in competitions at the regional and national levels in the past ten years.
