The Writing Communication area of the Department of Communication offers six programs under the Journalism Option, Advertising, Mass Media, News Editorial, Public Relations, Sports Communication, and Journalism.
The writing communication programs are taught by Dr. Carol Lomicky, Dr. Ralph Hanon, Dr. Keith Terry, Christina Jackson, and Tereca (Terri) Diffenderfer. The experienced faculty in this field are always working to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for a professional entering the Journalism and writing field.
Students in the writing field of communication will get the opportunity to work with the completely student run campus newspaper, The Antelope.
